When people see self help books they immediately assume that whoever reads it has to be in crisis. When I opened this book for the first time on Christmas Day with excitement my dad's first words were 'do you need help?' No, luckily I don't think I do ... (don't we all sometimes though?) but this book could help even the happiest of people's tune their out looks on life to be even more positive.

I've never been one for self help books, and I my slightly less open teenage self would have probably turned my nose up at it, but now I have a strong belief in its writing. The funny thing is though that everything the author, Rhonda, writes about is common sense but are things that we all need to be reminded of from time to time. The first few lines alone try to put the readers into a more positive mind set.

The love the quote that states 'it is both a blessing and a curse to feel everything so deeply.' From a young age I have been an over thinker, over worrier and perhaps some would say an over emotional soul. I take things personally some times that I shouldn't, I worry a lot about others and I have a bad temper (yes, a lot of the time irrationally.)

As with anything you have to have an open mind to read this book and I'm not recommending following it word for word, but a little more positive thinking for us all could benefit each of our lives in a good way. This life is beautiful and a blessing and sometimes the stresses of it can get in the way of remembering this. (Believe me, living in the hustle and bustle of London I witness this a lot.) But, we shouldn't make life a chore as we may live to regret it and we need to remember this a little more often.
