Since meeting my boyfriend I have become a Groupon convert. Honestly if you haven’t bought any deals from there yet then just please do. Over the last four months we have done so many fun things and a lot of them have come from Groupon deals. For my Christmas present my boy got us a voucher to go to Galvin at Windows and have cocktails and nibbles while looking at the beautiful view of London, so we went last night. Obviously I’m not sure how much this set him back but from looking at the prices on the menu I can guarantee that it was only a tiny fraction of the price it would have cost us without our voucher.
Galvin at Windows is beautiful and it’s always special to go somewhere so swanky as it doesn’t happen very often and feels like a real treat. We tried some of the beautiful cocktails inspired by the owners’ travels around Asia - one of the ones I had, Macha G&T, was killer straight gin with a delicate green tea foam which was strong but incredible and served with a beautiful purple flower on top. We also had a platter of nibbles to share and we made the mistake of going there hungry so we wolfed the amazing food down very quickly. Have a look at Groupon and try and make a trip to Galvins - or don’t and just go there for a special occasion - you won’t regret it.
