As fashion week begins so do the Autumn Winter 2016 shows, fast forwarding us through the Summer to a colder time again full of cosy knits and stylish layers. As always, Chloe have created a dreamy collection and the See by Chloe pieces are the top of my wish list so far. Remember it’s all about layering.
The silhouettes they’ve created are boxy but feminine, with waist belts around jumper middles to create an hour glass shape. The fabrics have different textures and patterns and are layered to clash in just the right way. Chloe always create a feminine aesthetic, but this is femininity with a more androgynous twist and it certainly works.
To follow in Chloe’s footsteps the key pieces to look out for are floaty maxi skirts paired with chunky knitted jumpers, palazzo style pants that move fluidly with the body and printed blouses. I don’t want to wish Summer to come and go just yet as I miss the warm weather, but it’s exciting to see that AW 16 is going to be a very stylish one.
